I just saw a kid on a bike get hit by a car ... I think he's okay but it was scary. He was on Congress going across Carroll on his bike, without a helmet, and he was somewhere in the middle when the light turned green. But he kept hurtling across the road and one vehicle drove through the green light, and the car behind it was accelerating when its corner collided with the bike. His bike fell, he fell. Some people helped him off the ground and the driver got out, looking stunned. And everyone at the intersection paused for a little while before slowly driving off.
