d. & I went to Dan's to see Dan play his first show with Z. of Y. They sounded good. After them was this band we'd never heard of. They turned out to be jazz school students who were extremely proficient. But even though they were talented (with really nice-sounding keyboards!), they sounded like something you'd hear on the "lite rock" easy listening station. I was creeped out by this because they were also all very young.

Then there's also the pop-punk band playing in town that's made up of boys who are 12, 13 and 14 (not to mention that the band formed several years ago). It must be a testament to how easy pop-punk is to play.
